To the members of the Moroccan community in Egypt, and to all our partners and friends of the League,
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Moroccan Community Social League in Egypt, it is my honour to welcome you to our official website — an open window onto our activities and services, and a bridge connecting every Moroccan in Egypt with their motherland, the Kingdom of Morocco.
Our Social Mission
Our League was founded in 2014 to be a common home for the Moroccan community in Egypt — a social institution that listens to its concerns and stands by its causes. From day one, we have placed people at the heart of our work: social and humanitarian support, legal and administrative guidance, and cultural activities that preserve our children's authentic Moroccan identity.
Women and Families First
Thousands of Moroccan women and their children form the fabric of our community in Egypt. That is why women's and family issues are a standing priority: awareness campaigns against customary marriage, support for mixed-marriage cases, and assistance to mothers and their children in their educational and social paths. Protecting the Moroccan family abroad is protecting our nation's future.
Partnerships We Are Proud Of
Our work could not have borne fruit without the continued support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Cairo and its consular section, and the cooperation of Moroccan and Egyptian institutions we hold in the highest regard. These partnerships embody the spirit of joint work in the service of Moroccan citizens wherever they are.
A Bridge Between Morocco and Egypt
Morocco and Egypt share deep-rooted fraternal ties, and at the League we consider ourselves ambassadors of this brotherhood: celebrating our national and religious occasions, taking part in Egyptian cultural life, and striving for our community to be the finest representative of the Kingdom's values.
A Call to Our Community
To every Moroccan in Egypt: this League is your home. Our doors are open to your suggestions and initiatives, and our hands are extended to everyone in need of support. Together, we build a strong, united community, proud of its identity.
May God protect the Kingdom of Morocco under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, and protect the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt under the leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi — and may the brotherhood between our two peoples endure.

We also call for the creation of a dedicated mechanism whose mission will be to support Moroccan skills and talents abroad and to back their initiatives and projects.
This mechanism will ultimately make it possible to better know these profiles, to interact with them on a permanent basis, and to present to them the assets their country offers in the sectors related to development and investment.
In this regard, We once again urge young Moroccans and project holders residing abroad to seize the many investment opportunities offered by the motherland and to make the most of the incentives and guarantees provided for by the new Investment Charter.
Moreover, it is incumbent upon public institutions and the national finance and business sector to open up further to investors from among the members of the community.
To this end, and in the best interest of all, effective sponsorship, support and partnership mechanisms should be set up in their favour.
In order to strengthen the bond between this segment of the population and the motherland, We have decided to bring about a new transformation in the way the affairs of the Moroccan community abroad are managed…
To this end, We have instructed the government to restructure this institutional framework around two key entities:
The first is the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad which, as an autonomous constitutional institution, must fully assume its role as a framework for reflection and a force of proposal, and reflect the representativeness of the various components of this community…
The second is the “Mohammedia Foundation for Moroccans Residing Abroad”: once established, this dedicated body will become the operational arm of public policy in this field.
…Furthermore, this new structure will manage the “National Mechanism for Mobilizing the Skills of Moroccans Residing Abroad”, whose creation We have called for and placed at the top of the missions entrusted to the Foundation.
