Under the slogan "Today's Children, Tomorrow's Leaders," the activities of the 7th Moroccan Child Forum in Cairo were launched, a major educational and cultural event organized by the League in partnership with several Egyptian and Moroccan educational and cultural institutions. The forum, which spanned two eventful days, brought together hundreds of children from the Moroccan community in various interactive spaces.
This year's forum featured a rich and diverse program including workshops in visual arts, theater, and music, in addition to cultural and scientific competitions that stimulated children's creativity and excellence. Each workshop was an opportunity to hone children's talents and discover their latent abilities in multiple fields.
The educational workshops extended beyond the artistic aspect to include science and technology, with programming and robotics workshops for children supervised by specialized facilitators. This initiative was warmly welcomed by parents who emphasized the importance of such activities in developing their children's skills and boosting their self-confidence.
Alongside educational activities, discussion circles were organized for families on ways to support children psychologically and educationally in the context of migration and integration into Egyptian society. Specialists in educational psychology and social upbringing provided valuable advice on dealing with educational challenges facing Moroccan families abroad.
The wide participation of children in the forum's activities was evidence of the initiative's success, as children expressed their happiness and pride in participating in activities that reflect their Moroccan identity while opening up to Egyptian culture. The celebratory atmosphere that characterized the forum made it a space for acquaintance and exchange of experiences among Moroccan families.
At the conclusion of the forum, certificates of appreciation and prizes were distributed to distinguished children in various competitions and workshops, in a joyous ceremony attended by the children's families and partner institutions. The League renewed its commitment to continue organizing these forums regularly, affirming that investing in children is an investment in the future of the community and Morocco.
